Three alleged gang members were arrested Tuesday on suspicion of dragging a man into an alley and robbing him at gunpoint, police said.
Adrian Morales, 27, Jesus Guerrero, 28, and Daniel Castaneda, 24, were arrested shortly after they robbed an Oxnard man in an alley behind the El Rio Market, 2765 Vineyard Ave., about 6:40 p.m., Oxnard police said. All three men are from Oxnard.
The 19-year-old victim had just cashed his paycheck at the market when the men confronted him and began asking him questions, police said. They then grabbed him, took him to the rear of the market, pointed a gun at him and took his money and cell phone before leaving the scene on foot, police said.
Shortly after the robbery, a sheriff's deputy heard the report on her radio and began checking nearby streets, sheriff's Capt. Dave Kenney said. The deputy spotted three men in a sport utility vehicle who matched the suspects' descriptions and detained them at Colonia Avenue and Olive Street.
The victim later identified the three as the robbers, and his money and cell phone were recovered at the scene, police said.
The three were booked into Ventura County Jail on suspicion of robbery, kidnapping, conspiracy and participation in a criminal street gang, police said.

They probably needed the money to put gas in the SUV! Glad they caught them! Lazy butts need to get a J-O-B. Oh wait, that would mean they would actually have to become productive members of society!

Gang members are the cowardly scum that drains society!! It's great that they are off the streets, but now we get to pay for their food and shelter while they are in jail!! Not to mention if they have off spring we'll be footing the bill for them too, through medi-cal, food stamps, welfare!! They are the worst forms of humans and I am sick of using tax dollars to support them and thier baby's mommas!!

Thank you, Ventura County Sheriffs, for cleaning more garbage off the street. Now if we could only keep them in the can where they belong!

What idiots I do hope they get a long time in jail. One of them is my cousin. No surprise.
