Take a Vacation at the YMCA!
YourNews contains stories posted by members of the public.
The price of oil is putting a crimp in nearly everyone's travel plans this summer. Because of this, the Camarillo Family YMCA is bringing the South Seas to Southern California by holding "Take a Vacation at the YMCA" from July 27th to August 2nd. Camarillo Family YMCA members will enjoy vacation-themed fitness classes, activities, games, treats and prizes. Take a Cardio class with rockin' surfing music, participate in a daily hula hoop contest (with prizes for Aloha Steakhouse!), or bike the Road to Hana in the Friday Cycle class. The week comes to a close following the "Road to Hana" Cycle class with a Happy (Healthy) Hour, featuring tropical goodies and giveaways on Friday, August 1, from 5:30-7pm. Vacation activity itineraries can be found online at www.ciymca.org. Events for "Take a Vacation at the YMCA" week are geared for members of the Camarillo Family YMCA, but the public is welcome to come to the YMCA for a tour of the facility during this especially festive week. There is no better time to become a member! The Camarillo Family YMCA is located at 3111 Village at the Park Drive in Camarillo. For more information, please call 805-484-0423 or visit www.ciymca.org.
