More Than 40 Restaurants and Businesses Participate in Taste of Simi and Mega Mixer

More from Simi ValleyLocal restaurants and businesses are excited about the upcoming Simi Valley Chamber of Commerce Taste of Simi and Mega Mixer on Thursday, July 31. This is evident by the more than 40 restaurants and businesses that have signed up for the event. We are thrilled with this large number of participants and we are expecting a huge turnout by members of the community, said Leigh Nixon, CEO for the Simi Valley Chamber of Commerce.
Major sponsors for the MEGA EVENT include: Premier Sponsors Ventura County Star and Lost Canyons Golf Club; Event Sponsors Supercuts and The Acorn. Participating restaurants include: Amuse Bouche, Bartons Steak & Seafood, Best Western Posada Royale Hotel & Suites, California Pizza Kitchen, Chilis, Lost Canyons Golf Club, Limon Latin Grill, Mavericks Steak Seafood & Barbecue, Red Fish, The Stray Steer, The Vineyards Simi, Sharkeys Wood Fired Mexican Grill, and Souplantation.
The Taste of Simi and Mega Mixer will be held at the Lost Canyons Golf Club from 5:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. The event is open to the public and will feature a no host bar, door prizes, wine tasting, and an array of scrumptious cuisine prepared by the 13 participating restaurants. Admission to the Mega Mixer is $5.00, which includes two tasting tickets for the Taste of Simi. Additional tasting tickets will be available for $1.00 each or 12 for $10.00. More than 1,000 people attended last years Mega Mixer.
