Armed robber hits local sandwich shop

A man with a gun robbed an Oxnard sandwich shop Monday night, police said.
The robber entered Jersey Mike's Subs, 2041 N. Oxnard Blvd., about 9 p.m., displayed a handgun and took cash from the register, said Oxnard police Sgt. Paul Cumming.
The robber then left the business and ran through a parking lot. No one was hurt during the robbery.
