Have the long, hot days of summer melted you into a puddle? Do you and the kids need to cool off today, now, or sooner?

Put on your bathing suit, put the kids in the car, and come on over to Rancho Simi Pool, 1765 Royal Avenue in Simi Valley. Thousands of gallons of cool, clear, refreshing water await you.

Jump off the diving board into the deep end or play in the shallow end. Enjoy some time with your family and friends while you cool off from the seemingly never-ending heat of July and August.

The pool is open to the public for open swim sessions daily, Monday through Friday, from 1:00 - 3:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. The cost per person is only $2.00.

Family swim passes may be purchased at the pool for $200.00 for up to six family members, allowing for unlimited swim sessions through August 24. Individual swim passes may be purchased for $35.00 and are good for 20 admissions including recreation swim and lap swimming. Details may be found at the pool.

Swim for fun and stay cool while playing under the watchful eyes of the District's lifeguard staff. Children not yet potty trained must wear approved swim diapers and all persons must wear bathing suits.

Children under the age of seven must have an adult, 18 years of age or older, in the water with the child at all time, unless the child has passed a swim test administered by a Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District lifeguard. This test must be passed each time the child visits the pool.

So, now, today, before you are too hot and tired to move, get your family, friends, neighbors and others together and get cool in Simi Valley.
