Camarillo Noontime Rotary Supports the Community

YourNews contains stories posted by members of the public.

In the past year our hometown Rotary Club has supported 27 orgainzations with donations exceeding $130,000, including Casa Pacifica, Camarillo Library, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County, and the Red Cross of Ventura County.

The club raises funds through putting on an annual golf tournament, the Viva La Comida dinner and other club events.

Many community leaders are active contributing members of the club. We have excellent speakers every Wednesday at noon at the Boys and Girls Club, and for a $15 lunch, all are invited to attend.

The moto of Rotary is "Service Above Self", and the Rotary Club of Camarillo is always looking for ways to increase the service and benefit it can offer the community.
