Oxnard man killed in stabbing
An Oxnard man died after being stabbed in a fight, police said on Sunday.
Police released few details on the killing, saying only that a man was found about 11 p.m. Saturday in the 900 block of South H Street “lying in the roadway, suffering from multiple stab wounds.”
David Rodriguez Ruelas, 29, of Oxnard, died of a stab wound to the neck, according to the Ventura County Coroner-Medical Examiner.
Another person stabbed in the fight did not suffer life-threatening wounds, police said.
Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call Detective Jeff Kay at 385-8174 or leave a message at 982-7070.

Sorry high_society...too many idiots, not enough available land to offer them.
Perhaps if they would just avoid the County altogether, it would help. But, until we control our borders, assist our school system to teach our children that this type of behavior is idiotic, we will have this type of "citizen."
If only they would just promise to prey on their own ilk, and leave the humans alone, we would be ahead of the game

It's funny how so many of these victims are "good kids" yet they associate with thugs

How did Camarillo get brought into this? Anyhoo, this is so sad...what is really going on? Maybe all the publicity is causing these idiots to think that it is easy to get away with crimes like this, considering that out of the last 4 stabbings (in what a month) not one person has been arrested for them...OR maybe this is nothing new and it does happen more often than we think and now it is making the newspaper so it seems like every time we log on there is a new story about a stabbing.

What does it matter if he did or didn't have a criminal record? No one deserves to die like that. David was a great guy and he will dearly be missed!
RIP DAVID!

I'd like to offer a prayer to the men and women serving in the Oxnard Police Department. May they come home to their families everyday in one peace. That goes to our firefighters as well.
Volience like this is found everywhere that's just the way our society is. The only thing we can do to prevent this is by educating everyone that's involved in gang like activities and convince them there's other ways to handle your differences besides rushing to get a weapon.
When are we as citizens, parents, mentors, teachers, counselors going to wake up and make a stand? When are we going to say enough is enough?

I loved this kid. So sad. He tried to live a good life. Sometimes its hard to avoid such a sad end. My heart is broken. I pray he called out to Jesus at the right time. Eternity is all that really matters, this life is temporal.
