May And Don Chen Celebrate
The children of May and Donald Chen wish to announce the 40th wedding anniversary of their parents.
May and Don met while working and taking classes at Atlantic Union College in Massachusetts. Working different shifts in the College Bindery, they wee able to bring snacks for the other and spend breaks getting acquainted. Saturday evening programs were the ideal times for dating and the combination of work, study and dating blossomed into romance and love. Don and May were married in the Preston Chapel on July 14, 1968.
Having dedicated their lives to working for the Lord, they spent 16 years teaching Church School in New England, New York City, and Chicago before coming to sunny Ventura County, California where theyve worked since 1984. Don retired in 2006.
Three wonderful children were born into this Christian home; Laura Mae (1976), David Lee (1979) and Linda Sue (1982).
Our celebration is in thankfulness to God for 40 years of love, guidance and caring.
