Oaks shake off Rattlers 9-5

More from BaseballThe Conejo Oaks returned home with a 9-5 victory over the San Luis Obispo Rattlers at Cal Lutheran on Monday.
The Oaks' nine runs were more than the total runs they scored over the last four games.
Kyle Jones scored on a wild pitch in the first inning. Steve Selsky doubled in the second run of the inning, which was followed by a sacrifice fly by Deven Braden.
After the Rattlers (22-12, 15-7) tied the score at 5-5 in the top of the fifth inning, the Oaks responded with two more runs on two-out RBI singles by Ryne Intlekofer and Jones.
The Oaks will host the Santa Maria Indians today at 5 p.m. at Cal Lutheran.
