Soroptimists of Ventura Installs New Officers

Soroptimist International of Ventura Installs Club Officers Ventura, CA- Soroptimist International of Ventura, California, recently installed club officers for the 2008-2009 club year at the Soroptimist luncheon held at the Pierpont Inn on July 2, 2008. The Installing Officer was Camino Real Region District Director, Joni Berger.
Dena Rogers, a member of Soroptimist for over four years and a long term State Farm agent, was installed as club president. Robin Tribbitt was installed as President elect. Pam Pecarich was installed as Recording Secretary. Elected as Corresponding Secretary was Guadalupe Moriel-Guillen. The position of Treasurer was assumed by Arlene Briggle. Two year Directors are Robin Jester and Terri Lawson. One year Directors are Lorie Balzer and Peggy Ruesink.
Dena will guide the group this year with a focus on the theme "Insuring our Future". She envisions a year of consistent activity for the club with reliance on our collective experience with Soroptimist and as business women and community volunteers, leavened with personal commitment from each member.
Outgoing President Robin Jester thanked her Board of Directors as a group and individually with gift bags for each (photo below). Soroptimist International is a part of the world's largest classified service organization for executive and professional women.
