Dyke - 50th Anniversary

Simeon and Bernice Dyke, of Newbury Park, celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary, Saturday, June 21st, at the Elks Lodge in Thousand Oaks. The couple was overwhelmed by the event and toasted by their family and dear friends. Much like their marriage, the party was a huge success.

Simeon, a retired Ventura County Firefighter (Captain) and Bernice a homemaker met at Moorpark High School and got married shortly after graduation. The couple bought their first home in Thousand Oaks and then moved to Newbury Park and has made this their home for more than 40 years. They are avid golfers and enjoy spending time with family and friends.

The surprise celebration was hosted by the couples 3 children and their families; Terri, Joe, Danielle, Savannah and Joey Rodriquez of Newbury Park; Pennie and David Riewald of San Diego; Curtis, Anita and Chris Dyke of Ojai.
