Made Where???
In my humble opinion the major problem with th economy of this country and the cause of the low employment rate is the fact that so many of our so called "American" corporations are purchasing products they use to produce here in America from China. If not purchasing the products directly from China they are having their products manufactured in China to take advantage of the extremely low pay rate for the workers.
I recently received a gift from Readers Digest, it was a 2008 Calender. Boldly printed on the front cover were the words, "Readers Digest AMERICA" it also had a picture of the Golden Gate Bridge proudly displayed in the center.
After looking through the calender I glanced at the rear cover, in very fine print at the bottom of the page it stated: "printed in China". A perfect example of an old established American Corporation that has joined the ranks of the money hungry corporations that are selling out the Citizens of the United States of America.
I immediately phoned the Readers Digest and told them to cancel my subscription. I am taking great care not to purchase any products that are not produced in the United States.
