Sunday's television highlights
If you prefer to skip several hours of acceptance speeches, there are alternatives to the Oscars.
"Law & Order: Criminal Intent" at 8 p.m. on NBC: Three hours of repeats air.
"The Simpsons" at 8 and 8:30 p.m. on Fox: During the rerun at 8, a drink erases Homer's memory. Then in the 8:30 repeat, he becomes a secret agent — presumably with his memory.
"I, Robot" (2004 science fiction) at 8 p.m. on KCOP, Channel 13: It wasn't nominated for an Oscar for best picture, but this film is faithful to Isaac Asimov's laws of robotics. Will Smith stars as a homicide detective who tracks down a dangerous robot in 2035.
"Cold Case" at 9 p.m. on CBS: The team focuses on a homeless family living in a station wagon in this repeat.
"Girlfriends" at 9 p.m. on The CW: Joan hears strange noises in this repeat.
"Justice, Equality & Hope: The Legacy of Martin Luther King Jr." at 10:30 p.m. on KTLA, Channel 5: This repeated Black History Month special looks at the slain civil rights leader.
