Motorcycle hotspots: Harley's Rock Inn, 17539 Elizabeth Lake Road, Lake Hughes, 661-724-1855. Open Friday through Monday for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Full bar, pool table, outdoor patio and live entertainment on weekends. Harley and Hopper are the proprietors. Also, Deer Lodge, 2261 Maricopa Highway at Alvarado Avenue, 805-646-4256, at the end of the ride.

• Right on Highway 118/Los Angeles Avenue at 3.7 miles.
