Morning Report: Partly cloudy and cool weather expected

Weather: Partly cloudy conditions with high temperatures in the 60s are expected today, the National Weather Service reported.

There is a chance of drizzle after midnight.

Traffic: Minor injuries were reported early this morning in a crash on Highway 118 westbound just west of Rocky Peak Fire Road near Simi Valley, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The vehicle involved in the accident crashed into the center divider of the highway about 4:49 a.m.

Police and Fire: Last night and this morning were quiet and routine, law enforcement and fire department officials said.
