The MyHouseLending Team has joined The Carrigan Financial Group, a division of Platinum Home Mortgage, located in Camarillo. The MyHouseLending team serves all of Ventura County, with programs available throughout the state of California.
In what started as a small two-person operation that grew to more than 100 million in group production, the owners of MyHouseLending, Buffy Bartley and JaDee Locke, spent the past six years brokering loans to more than 40 wholesale lenders.
"We were very fortunate with timing in the marketplace," Bartley said. "The availability of flexible financing terms to accommodate most consumers allowed us to offer a wide range of options. In early 2007, we realized the need to align our team with a mortgage bank that offered in-house programs along with government-backed loans in order to keep the level of service our clients had grown to expect. We are delighted to have merged our efforts with Steve Carrigan's veteran team."
"This collaboration brings use even more opportunities to all the people we serve," Locke said.
The MyHouseLending team now offers special loan programs for all first-time buyers, including those interested in state and federal 10 percent financing options. "We want to ensure all first-time buyers are aware of fixed rate, safe, conservative loan options, loans that have nothing to do with the subprime crisis," Bartley said.
In addition to First-Time Buyer Programs, all MyHouseLending team loan officers are trained in CalPERS, FHA and VA loans.
"Another program that we are very excited to offer is Herocare," Locke said. "The Herocare program reaches out to all our teachers, police and fire personnel, medical and emergency response professionals, city, county, state and federal employees, and special discounts are available to them for loan, real estate and financial services."
Another key member of the MyHouseLending team is bi-lingual mortgage advisor, Veronica O. De La Cruz, who has been instrumental in bringing awareness and free education to the Spanish-speaking community. "This population is especially in need of accurate information," said O. De La Cruz, a veteran of the mortgage industry.
The Carrigan Financial Group is recognized both locally and nationally as a community partner in education, and in standards and ethics for all home ownership issues; the Carrigan Financial Group serves as a key housing and first-time home buyer consultant for The Area Housing Authority of the County of Ventura; California State University, Channel Islands; the City of Camarillo and the City of Oxnard, among other institutions.
