Alexandra Pines, daughter of David and Judy Pines of Thousand Oaks, has been named to the dean's list at Syracuse University for fall 2007 in recognition of outstanding scholarship during her freshman term.
A member of the crew team, Pines has also been selected for the Renee Crown University Honors Program.
Kimberly Ann Brown of Camarillo was among the 609 students named to the dean's list for fall semester 2007 at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Wash.
Emily Bradvica and Patrick Gorski, both of Ventura, are listed on the 2007 fall semester dean's list at University of Portland.
Bradvica is a senior and majors in Spanish. Gorski is a freshman and majors in mechanical engineering.
Colleen Burns of Simi Valley was named to the first semester high honors dean's list for the 2007-08 academic year at Stephens College in Missouri. She is a senior theater arts major.
