The West Hills Hospital Auxiliary has given out an additional 8 scholarships, since May 2007, to deserving students in health care studies; 5 in nursing and 3 in respiratory therapy. The recipients are Kristina Becker, Bradley Berry, Michelle Boonthawesuk, Laura Fairley, Marie Garner, Getachew Haile, Rodrigo Mata and Andrew Vashchenko. Scholarship applications for the 2008/09 school year are available now for students pursuing a career in health care. They can be picked up in the gift shop at West Hills Hospital.
