Oak Park Eagle signs Division 1 soccer

Ashley Umann has been playing soccer since she was 10 from the local AYSO to Real So Cal and then finding her permanent resting spot at the Camarillo Eagles. From the early age, she showed a passion and commitment for the game that every coach and teammate loved.
From Keeper to Forward, She has played almost every position on the field during her journey to the top and this diversity has helped her to become a great player. Ashley currently plays for the Camarillo Eagles GU17 Premier Team, where she has been the captain of the team for 2 years and in 2007 she helped lead her team to a Cal South Premier championship.
Ashley also plays for Oak Park High School where she has been voted Offensive player of the year for the past 3 years, and was named to CIF 1st team and 2nd Team. She primarily plays defense on her premiere team, but because of her diversity, she plays striker for the high school where she gets to show her speed, ball control and precision shooting.
All her hard work and dedication has paid off as she signed a National Letter of Intent to play Division 1 soccer for Cal State Fullerton.
We all are very proud of her and wish her the best of luck in her College career.
