CIF-SS Division III-AA playoffs, first round, at Channel Islands

Highlights: Channel Islands — The Raiders made 10 3-pointers. Maye Dangana scored 17 points, Wakisha King scored 16 points and Whitney Shirley scored 12. Armi Agor and Chanel Smith both grabbed 11 rebounds. Channel Islands faces Pacific Hills in the next round.

Records: Channel Islands 16-8, Marymount 11-12.

OXNARD 67, PIONEER VALLEY 40

CIF-SS Division III-AA playoffs, first round, at Oxnard

Highlights: Oxnard — Kiana Vines had 18 points, 11 rebounds and eight blocks. Jennifer Gaines scored 22 points and Dajyanah Vines scored 10. Oxnard feces Windward in the next round.

Records: Oxnard 23-4, Pioneer Valley 7-18.

ARROYO GRANDE 44, RIO MESA 34

CIF-SS Division III-AA playoffs, first round, at Arroyo Grande

Highlights: Rio Mesa — Julissa DeVad scored 14 points and made all of Rio Mesa's four 3-pointers.

Records: Rio Mesa 13-13, Arroyo Grande 23-4.

LA REINA 50, L.A. ADVENTIST 15

CIF-SS Division V-AA playoffs, first round, at L.A. Adventist

Highlights: La Reina — Jenna Burge scored 19 points and made all of La Reina's five 3-pointers. La Reina faces Viewpoint in the next round.

Records: La Reina 15-10, L.A. Adventist 11-14.

Division IV-A score: Thacher 66, Victor Valley Christian 26.

AGOURA 10, VENTURA 8

CIF-SS Division II playoffs, first round, at Agoura

Highlights: Agoura — Casey Clark had four goals and three steals. Perri Hopkins and Savannah Fletcher each had three goals, two assists and three steals. Goalie Christina Vournas made eight saves. Agoura faces Laguna Beach in the next round. Ventura — Hannah Boydstum and Alexis Lee scored three goals apiece. Haley Bartosh and Alisa Argend scored one apiece. Goalie Marissa Herold made three saves.

Records: Agoura 20-9, Ventura 16-14.

SAN CLEMENTE 6, ROYAL 3

CIF-SS Division II playoffs, first round, at Capistrano Valley

Highlights: Royal — Brianna Johnson scored two goals and Shannon Robertson scored one. Goalkeeper Emily Hucel had 15 saves.

Record: Royal 20-8.

PALOS VERDES 12, THOUSAND OAKS 3

Highlights: Thousand Oaks — Kaitlyn Potter scored two goals and Dusty Holmes scored one.

CIF-SS Division II playoffs, first round, at Dos Pueblos

Highlights: Newbury Park — Jessica Wall scored a minute into the second period.

Record: Newbury Park 17-13.

MALIBU 9, CHADWICK 7 (OT)

CIF-SS Division IV playoffs, second round, at Malibu

Highlights: Malibu — Rachel Whittemore scored with 59 seconds left to send the game into overtime. Gianna Sote and Reilly Lippman scored two goals apiece. Alex Dossett had six steals and two assists. Goalkeeper JoJo White nine blocks, all in the second half. Malibu will face Louisville in the next round.

Records: Malibu 21-8, Chadwick 15-8.

HARVARD-WESTLAKE 16, CAMARILLO 4

CIF-SS Division IV playoffs, second round, at Harvard-Westlake

Highlights: Camarillo — Michelle Elrich scored two goals. Sarah Conners and Emily Andrews had a goal and two steals.

Record: Camarillo 14-11.

Other Division IV score: Arroyo Grande 12, Cate 0.

At Cal Lutheran

Highlights: Cal Lutheran — Mary Placido scored 20 points, Johanna Rothermel scored 14 points and Maggie Meville added 13. The Regals connected on 13 3-pointers.

MOORPARK PLACES SECOND

At WSC Meet, Moorpark

Highlights: Moorpark — Jimmie Pacifico won the hammer throw (53.37), the shot put (16.68) and the discus (46.76). Kyle Essa won the high jump event with a mark of 6 feet, 6 inches. Colin Dunbar finished first in the javelin (162-11), second in the hammer (52.30) and shot put (14.01) and third in the discus (42.23). Jason Sigelakis finished third in the 3,000 meters (9 minutes, 21.62 seconds). Ricky Dorado finished third in the 800 (2:08.33).

COMMUNITY COLLEGE WOMEN'S TRACK

MOORPARK PLACES THIRD

At WSC meet, Moorpark

Highlights: Moorpark — Whitney Anderson finished second in the 100 (13.86) and third in the 200 (28.80). Jennifer Jones finished second in the discus (22.90) and third in the hanner (19.41). Brianna Smithh finished second in the 1,500 (5:38.73) and Holly Northrup finished second in the pole vault (7-0). Kelly Guyton finished third in the 100 (13.91).
