Sharon Drum Giering of Simi Valley announces the engagement of her daughter Jennifer Yvette Brollier to Bryce Thomas Johnson both of San Diego. Johnson is the son of Elizabeth See of Monrovia and Thomas E. Johnson of San Diego.
The couple will share words of commitment during a wedding ceremony April 27 in Cuvier Park, La Jolla.
The bride-to-be graduated from Royal High School in 1997 and the University of California at Santa Barbara in 2002 with a bachelor's degree in sociology. She received her master's degree in social work from San Diego State University in 2006. After obtaining a pupil personnel services credential, she is now employed by Social Advocates for Youth, in San Diego.
The groom-to-be graduated from University of California at Santa Barbara in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in anthropology. He is employed by State Compensation Insurance Fund.
After a honeymoon trip to Hawaii, the couple will continue to reside in San Diego.
