Drinking fountains and picnic tables: No drinking fountains. One picnic table under a tree at 1.9 miles from the trailhead.
Restrooms: There is a gas station 0.1 mile south of Highway 101 on Moorpark Road.
Directions to trailhead: From Highway 101 drive south on Moorpark Road 0.35 miles to Los Padres Drive (second street) and turn left. Continue about 100 yards and park by the trailhead gate on the right, just past Woodlet Way street sign.
Hiking directions: From the Los Padres Trailhead sign and gate, hike south through the oak forest. After the forest the trail ascends up to Los Robles trail junction at 0.5 miles. Turn right and continue uphill to a junction at 1 mile. Continue straight and turn right 20 yards later at the Los Robles Trail West signed junction. At 1.2 miles is the signed junction for Scenic Overlook Loop on the right. Bear right and continue uphill to a bench at 1.6 miles. Enjoy the views and then start downhill. At 1.7 miles the trail rejoins the Los Robles Trail. Bear right, continuing downhill, and keep to the right at 1.8 miles where a small trail veers off to the left. At 1.9 miles is a signed junction. The hike is to the right and a picnic table is straight ahead under the trees. At 2.4 miles, bear right at the signed junction toward the Moorpark Road entrance. Stay to the right 50 yards later. At 2.5 miles, bear right at the signed junction toward Moorpark Road access gate. The gate is at 2.8 miles and at the corner is Moorpark Road. Turn left on Moorpark Road and right on Los Padres Drive to where you're parked.
