Free Seminar Highlights Mental Health

More from CamarilloLearning how to utilize the system to help others who suffer from mental illness is the focus of a free seminar on Thursday, March 6 at 2 p.m. at AlmaVia of Camarillo, 2500 Ponderosa Drive North.
The seminar will be led by Luke Jackson, J.D., B.S.N. Director of Senior Behavioral Health for Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center. Jackson will inform attendees how to find and utilize community resources, how the system works and outline the options in dealing with a family member who is experiencing a mental health disorder or ongoing problem.
"Sometimes an individual is in denial or resists treatment," stated Jackson. "There is a tremendous amount of resources out there, it's just a matter of finding out where to find them," he added.
