Man arrested in T.O. on child sex charge

More from Conejo ValleyA Los Angeles man was arrested Monday in Thousand Oaks on suspicion of luring a child for sex acts, authorities said.
Mohd Nafiz Imtiaz, 23, was arrested by sexual assault investigators when he arrived in Thousand Oaks to engage in sex acts with a 15-year-old girl, according to Thousand Oaks police.
Imtiaz had been communicating with an undercover investigator on the Internet for a week, authorities said.
Imtiaz is charged with one count of felony luring of a child to commit a lewd act and was held Tuesday at the Ventura County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
His next court date is set for Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in Ventura County Superior Court.

I am glad to see these stings happening in our area. There are so many child predators out there its just scary !!!!

i think someone is assuming from the guy's name that he might be of, shall we say, "middle-eastern" extraction. it would be truly fine if he could spend his sentence in a turkish prison. i, however, will not assume that he's a foreigner. the appropriate penalty would be summary roadside execution.
as regards ofc polo, have you ever considered that the accusation may have been investigated and found to be untrue? some people do have agendas against the police. of course, from what adam always says, i would imagine that he knows that.

Can someone explain the logic to me, please! Why is the story about the Camarillo accountant, Richard Willrodt, Age 48 who was arrested on Saturday 2/10/08 at the Westin Bonaventure for having a 15 year old "Boy" passed out drunk in his room and booked in jail for lewd acts with a minor, not on this site? Why did this Camarillo pervert have a $20,000 bail amount set? Why are any of these offenders bail so darn low that they are out and about within hours of getting caught? Why is our society so forgiving of these horrific acts against children? We need to get punishments that fit these crimes...no bail, no balls, no chance to ever do it again! Come on people, this is ridiculous how little we do for such an awful crime.

This was a sting operation by the PD. I hope they do alot more of them!!!!!!
