Why would the Boys and Girls Club sponsor a band for a youth event that adveriste the word guns. We Got Guns and the Linder Murders. What are we telling our youth. I thought that the BGC was suppose keep our youth out of gang and provide a safe haven for kids and not glorifiy guns and violence.

To connie2boys, and SueSue
I was the person who but the show together with the B&G Club.
Also my son is in the Band We Got Guns.
Before people speak you should know what you are talking about. A name of a band is not always what it seem to be, Guns means muscles, not fire arms.
The B&Q Club did a great thing by allowing the youth bands of Ventura a “Safe” place to play music and show there talents. The bands also raised money for the B&G Club to help out there community.
I support my son and other bands in Simi and they are not into gangs, or anything that is bad, they just want to play music.
