Changes to Rental Policies at the Poinsettia Pavilion

The Poinsettia Pavilion, a community meeting place in Ventura for fifty years and previously a destination for weddings and private parties, changed its policies last year in July 2007.  Use of the facility is now limited primarily to non-profit groups including community and service organizations, schools, churches, as well as city, state, and federal government agencies.  Reservations are no longer accepted for private parties such as weddings or wedding receptions.

Also known as the Ventura Women's Center, the Poinsettia Pavilion is a non-profit entity governed by a Board of Directors.  The current Board of Directors is committed to adhering to the intent of the original Trust Agreement and By-Laws established in 1954 by providing a meeting place for all non-profit community groups and organizations.

On Saturday, April 5, 2008 the Poinsettia Pavilion will celebrate its 50th Anniversary inviting everyone from the non-profit community to an evening of fine dining and 50-year 'walk down memory lane'.  Tickets will be $25.00 per person and available beginning March 1st.  Contact the Poinsettia Pavilion at 805-648-1143.
