Kiwanis Club of Simi Valley announces the addition of Stefanie Schaeffer to its list of celebrities set to play in the club's Celebrity Classic Golf Tournament at Moorpark Country Club on May 1. The tournament will include approximately 36 celebrities playing with the foursomes in the annual event.
Stefanie, you're hired!" Donald Trump told former trial attorney, Stefanie Schaeffer, during the finale of the Apprentice, Season Six. Stefanie, a resident of Oak Park, was named Trump's sixth apprentice in a live production at the Hollywood Bowl.
Schaeffer attended Law School after graduating from UC Riverside in 1996 with a double major in Psychology and English and a minor in Communications. She attended Southwestern University School of Law and was accepted into the famed SCALE (Southwestern's Conceptual Approach to Legal Education) program which is the only two year fully accredited ABA Juris Doctor program in the United States.
With Schaeffer's impressive credentials and background, it is clear that Trump found exactly what he was searching for. He had his eye out for "the best of the best." Stefanie is currently vice president of marketing for Trump International Hotel & Tower in Las Vegas, a golden 65-story high-rise, due to open in spring of 2008.
Schaeffer also enjoys charity work and is involved with the Boys and Girls Club, the American Cancer Society and the Habitat for Humanity.
A portion of the proceeds from the golf tournament will go to the Simi Valley Community Foundation, which supports many of the area's charities.
