2008 US World Series Qualifier - Red Hot Coyotes stay hungry en route to Championship

On a beautiful weekend in the desert sun, The Westlake Coyotes 12U baseball club ran the table 5-0 against a very strong tournament field (teams from San Diego, Nevada, Orange County, Palm Desert, etc.). Finishing 1st out of pool play, the Coyotes won 3 straight on Sunday coming from behind in the Championship, scoring 8 runs on their final at bat. The Coyotes are a local team in their fourth year of tournament baseball. In 2008 the Coyote pack are rolling, winning Championships in Simi Valley and Palm Springs and qualifying for the 2008 12U US World Series. They are heading to Cooperstown this summer. A big thank you to the Westlake Hitting Zone and to Parisi Performance Zone where the Coyotes workout each week.
