A Moorpark man was robbed at gunpoint and assaulted at a hotel in Simi Valley early Sunday morning, police reported.

The 23-year-old was visiting the Grand Vista Hotel at 999 Enchanted Way about 2:45 a.m. when he was attacked by several people, according to a statement from the Simi Valley Police Department.

The attackers brandished a handgun, took the mans wallet and hit him on the head, police said. The man suffered a cut over his right eye that required stitches.

Anyone with information about the attack is asked to call the Simi Valley Police Department at 583-6950.

Yeah visiting the hotel??? Got rolled or the connection punked him. 2:45 am slither with the snakes enough your gonna get bit. My guess is he spent all his money and had to come up with an excuse why he had no X-mas money left to pay his bills.

The story is completly wrong!

I suggest that the "staff writer" go back and obtain the real and correct story.

Simiproud,

What was the real story and can you link to a more accurate account of what happened?

All I can say is that I am acquainted with people at the hotel and there is much more to this so called "victim" and the real story behind him and of what actually happened prior to the incident.

The "staff" writer, as usual, did not do their homework and for the sake of the readership needs to return and do some more investigation.

Well, unless you can tell us what happened, all I have to believe is this staff writer.

littlepowers---that's awesome...keep believing everything you read. Can i send you a pamphlet that details how you need to tithe 10% of you income to me?

oh and by the way...i can corroborate that this story by the star is completely lacking the facts.

The truth of this story is that the victim showed up at the hotel to buy drugs from 6 parolees that were waiting for him. I know I know shocking they rolled him for his cash........
