An Oxnard man was shot Friday night in what police said was a gang-related attack.
The unnamed victim, 38, was approached by two men in their 20s just before 8 p.m. in the 2100 block of San Jose Street, Oxnard Police Department officials said. The attackers yelled gang slogans before shooting the man, police said.
He sustained two gunshot wounds and was taken to St. Johns Regional Medical Center in Oxnard, where he was listed in stable condition, authorities said.
Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call Detective Chris Williams at 486-6228, or make an anonymous call to Crime Stoppers at 385-TALK. Police said they are withholding the victims name for his protection.
Information leading to an arrest may bring a reward of up to $1,000, police said.

Ask the victim, chances are he know who did it! Have a save New Year's Evey and New Year's Day OPD. My prayers are with you.

He probably doe's but they will not disclose that until an arrest is made. Hope they make it fast! I hope the guy is going to recover also.

My wish for the New Year: that we throw the rules of society out the door relative to gang members and just ship them off to a hostile island to let'm have it out with each other.
Last man standing can come home to 10 years in prison. Gotta admit: it would make for good TV...
