Buenaventura Swim Club results

Winter Age-Group Championships

Dec. 12-14, at Cerritos

The outing proved to be successful for Buenaventura as the team placed 22nd in the combined men's and women's team scores out of the 52 teams who scored points. Leading the way was Jessie Ball, who made the top eight in all six of her individual events. Ball collected two second places, two third places, a fourth and fifth place in the 200 breast stroke, 100 freestyle, 200 individual medley, 200 freestyle, 50 freestyle and 100 breast stroke, respectively. Ball also helped lead the 13-14 Buenaventura girls to a third-place finish in the 800-yard freestyle relay.

Adding to the point total was Sam Chittenden, who placed fourth in the 1,650 freestyle and ninth in the 1,000 freestyle. Katie Nettesheim was 11th in the 1,650 freestyle, Haley Slade 12th in the 200 backstroke, Chesna Biolley 14th in the 200 buuterfly and 14th in the 400 individual medley, Tori Thomas fifth in the 100 freestyle, fifth in the 200 freesytle, seventh in the 500 freestyle, fourth in the 400 individual iedley, Niles Biolley 11th in the 100 freestyle, eighth in the 200 freestyle, 15th in the 100 breast stroke, Nick Vargas 11th in the 500 freestyle, sixth in the 1,000 freestyle, sixth in the 1,650 freestyle, Chris Waechter 11th in the 100 freestyle, 15th in the 200 freestyle, 14th in the 100 backstroke, 16th in the 200 backstroke and 14th in the 100 breast stroke; and Thomas Maires 16th in the 500 freestyle.
