Sustainable-home financing is talk topic

Residential construction financing with an emphasis on sustainability will be discussed Monday at a meeting of the California Central Coast Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council.

Joel Baral and Jeff Bricmont, principals of Modern Earth Finance, will discuss integrating home financing with green building, energy efficiency and environmental awareness at the council's monthly meeting at 6 p.m. Monday at the Patagonia Firehouse Building, 280 W. Main St. in downtown Ventura.
