Paige Jones Hibbits Attains National Accountancy Accreditation

Paige Jones Hibbits, ATA, ATP, CRTP, CPB of Camarillo, CA, has successfully completed the requirements for the prestigious, nationally recognized Accredited Tax Advisor (ATA) credential.

The Accreditation Council for Accountancy and Taxation (ACAT) program recognizes practitioners who demonstrate measurable expertise in the principles, practices and ethical standards of accounting and taxation. Through the ABA credential, ACAT establishes a uniform standard of proficiency which clients and employers can rely upon when selecting an accounting, tax and/or financial services professional.

In states where use of the designation Accredited Business Accountant is not permitted, individuals use the ACAT's alternate designation of Accredited Business Advisor.

Mrs. Hibbits will have to earn 120 hours of additional continuing professional education credits every three years and to adhere to ACAT's Code of Ethics and Rules for Professional Conduct in order to maintain accredited status.

Organized in 1973, ACAT is affiliated with the National Society of Accountants in Alexandria, Virginia. ACAT's Comprehensive Examination for Accreditation in Accountancy is administered nationwide for three weeks in May and June and three weeks in late November and December. Contact ACAT @888.289.7763 or email info@acatcredentials.org for more information.
