AC/DC sets a date for new Black Ice' album
AC/DC's new album, "Black Ice," will be sold exclusively in the U.S. via Wal-Mart, Sam's Club and the band's Web site, beginning Oct. 20. The album's first single, "Rock 'n' Roll Train," will hit U.S. radio stations Aug. 28.
In an unusual move, the exclusive release comes with the full cooperation of AC/DC's label, Columbia, which announced it is planning "multiple activities for fans" leading up to the street date.
The 15-track "Black Ice" was produced by Brendan O'Brien and is the follow-up to 2008's "Stiff Upper Lip." In true AC/DC fashion, several songs feature "rock 'n' roll" in the title. An extensive world tour in support of the set will begin in late October.
In addition, on Sept. 9, Columbia will release "No Bull: The Director's Cut," a newly edited DVD chronicling AC/DC's July 1996 performance at Madrid's Plaza De Toros De Las Ventas.

After hearing the new AC/DC "Black Ice" track "Rock and Roll Train" I think AC/DC fans should check out the song "Women, Whiskey & Rock'n'Roll" by Don Coleman. It's been on AC/DC's website for months and celebrates the life and spirit of Bon Scott. You can here it at - acdc.com/fromtheband (search (Celebrating the life...) or on its dedicated website at - myspace.com/doncoleman OR on YouTube ( search Don Coleman) where you can also see Don's AC/DC Tribute performances. The song is airing in 16 countries and has been given rave reviews by all who have listened to it. Maybe AC/DC will consider having Don Coleman open for them if they tour Canada's East Coast where Don performs at numerous clubs and venues weekly with top musicians.
