Most of us wish our bodies were healthier in some way, shape or form. Some of us have enough drive to hold together a good and nutritious diet as well as getting ourselves MOVING and keeping exercise as a priority.

Every morning and every evening at Lemon Park (Rancho Tapo Community Park) you will find 20-40 people of all ages jogging the dirt trail, walking their dog, exercising in the fitness center or running. Its such a safe and clean park and during the hot months it happens to stay cool with all of the trees.

From our experiences helping people get in shape there is more you can do to bump it up a notch! It has to do with EATING NUTRITIOUS FOODS.

The more natural the food item, the better it is for your body since it will be filled with minerals, vitamins and essential nutrients your body actually CRAVES.

We discovered an incredible source for farm fresh 100% organic foods right here in Simi Valley and have been able to convince our boot campers that DIDNT like fruits and veggies that they can LOVE them and pay 1/3 of the price the regular grocery stores charge.

Simi Valley husband and wife, April King and Harv Harding, have been a part of the Simi Valley hub since it started. I always wished I could buy organic, but the prices were always so high. With this Abundant Harvest Organics service I get more than enough to eat an entire week! I love it. April said. She and Harv are also part of 805 Boot Camp so their lives are quite changed with the nutrition and exercise being so important. She added, Our weekly food consumption has changed to incorporate more fruits and veggies. I now plan meals around veggies, rather than starting with the main course. We also eat way more fruit for snacks & dessert.

Couples at camp help each other eat properly AND show up to exercise every dayand the support really makes a difference. Randy Shoemaker, owner of 805 Boot Camp pointed out.

Local grocery stores are able to charge exorbitant prices for the small organic options available. The service with AHO only costs $20 for a family of two and $33 for a family of four. Its a no-brainer that every Simi Valley resident should know about!

Everyone can enjoy locally grown 100% organic farm fresh produce for less than non-organic or even farmers market prices! Check it out at www.abundantharvestorganics.com

Exercise is 20% of the battle when you are trying desperately to improve your health the other 80% is honest healthy eating and filling your body with foods it can USE.

Everyone is so busy that this can be quite a challenge to add to your routinestart with ONE step like packing a good lunch every day or having ONE day be a family sit-down-at-the-diningroom-table meal (not in front of the TV) meal.

Then enjoy Lemon Park with a brisk walk!
