Best Idea Since Sliced Bread

Best Idea sinceSliced Bread!

My wife and I flew to Virginia, (don't get me started about the flight from Hell!), To visit our son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter. I got to tell you, they live in the Richmond area in a town called Midlothian, outside of the fantastic condition of all the roads in Virginia the state with it's massive greenery is breathtaking. The state doesn't allow any building within approx 1/4 mile on either side of any of the highways, consequently as you drive all you see are beautiful wooded areas and huge expanses of green rolling hillsides.

My wife, (a confirmed shop-o-holic) was in Hog-Heaven. There was a mall or large shopping center in the cities about every ½ mile. There were also more restaurants in the Richmond area than in the entire state of California. It would seem that the Virginian's do nothing but shop and eat.

Anyway the reason I am really writing this little bit of information is to let you know of one of the greatest ideas in politics I have ever heard of. In Virginia as well as some other states a person is "NOT" required to declare a party when registering to vote. Now this is the way it should be in all states. If this were the case it would certainly change the way the politicians stump for votes. They would be required to give as much attention to every state, not only the ones that contain the majority of their party.
