Taking Advantage of Insurance Companies

This Fall Ventura College is offering a college credit class that teaches individuals, families and businesses how to take full advantage of the often little known provisions and benefits available in standard property and liability insurance policies.
Designed for the layman, business operators, students, and entry level workers in the insurance industry, the class - Business V72, Property and Liability Insurance - meets Thursday evenings from 7:00-9:50 on the Ventura College campus, 4667 Telegraph Road, Ventura.
The course also covers and demystifies the workings of insurance companies, property and liability insurance coverages and opens the door to the variety of traditionally higher paying jobs available in the insurance industry. This stand-alone three unit class is also one of a series of four courses that lead to a certificate of insurance.
Fall classes start August 18, 2008. Students can register on-line now at www.venturacollege.edu for BUS V72, Property and Liability Insurance, CRN 71639.
