A day that shall live in memory. For nearly 200 women of various Red Hat Chapters, joined together with the hosting Happy Hatters by the Sea, to celebrate 10 years of friendship, fun, fashion and frivolity!
On Friday April 25, 2008, the merriment began early as lovely ladies attired in Red Hat Regalia arrived at the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel in Oxnard.
Surprise after surprise awaited them! Vendors set up "court" in the foyer for "shop until you drop" delights of all kinds and colors. A "step into Red Hat Style" decor was the setting for an elegant lunch. Queen Gloria Kozlowski and Vice Queen Marilyn Miravete-Smith greeted and treated the attendees to an array of prizes, accolades and entertainment.
Our entertainer Phil Birdsell "Mr. McSteamy" personified, lit up our live's with interactive songs & impressions using his "starpower" to the response of beating hearts, big smiles and cheers. He was adored by one and all.
