Three men and a teenager, all from Oxnard, were stabbed early Saturday during a fight in Port Hueneme, police said.
The four victims, Albert Aguilar, 18, Pedro Martinez, 18, Jorge Moron, 21, and an unidentified 16-year-old boy, told police they were confronted by several males armed with knives about 1 a.m. in a Port Hueneme Beach parking lot, according to a statement from the Port Hueneme Police Department.
A fight broke out and each victim was stabbed multiple times, police said. The assailants then left the area.
The victims drove themselves to St. John's Regional Medical Center for treatment. Their injuries were not life-threatening, authorities said.
Police said the victims were uncooperative during the investigation at the hospital, and it is unclear whether the incident was gang related.
Anyone with information can call the Port Hueneme Police Department at 986-6530.

Now, now insideedge. These could have been just some really good kids just checking out the surf before returning home from a church youth group meeting that ran late.

Well if the Victims didn't coorporate with the police , they must have knew each other. And we will probably hear about retaliation.

West to East, who do you call when you get into an altercation, which hopefully isn't quite often. Who do you call when your friends or family members are in trouble. THE POLICE. Yes, there are always a couple bad apples in the bunch, but they are not stupid. Seems like people love to make excuses for their inability to follow laws and keep on the straight and narrow. It's 1am, a bunch of underage kids hanging out at the beach. Thats ASKING for trouble, no matter what the reasons or excuses are. Open your eyes and stop thinking everyone is out to get you.

West_to_East ,The faster the police can get the info on a stabbing the better the chances of them getting arrested. Now just being in a car wreck I can understand not wanting to talk to them at that time.
whatif , I am sorry I dont feel like its all negativity. Its just people do not comment on the good articles in the paper like I do !! I thought all my comments to you were considerate and now you bash me?

Sorry but there aren’t many good reasons to be at the beach at 1am. They were doing something no good. Since the article says the stabbings were non life threatening I doubt they were so concerned about each other, that they couldn't talk about what happened, it's more likely they didn't want to talk because they did want to incriminate them selves. The reason the cops begin grilling you right away is because the longer you wait to more facts are forgotten. So I don’t agree that the cops are dumb, what can they do if no one specks up and tells the truth.

WAKE UP! Don't let these punks turn our neighborhood into Tijuana. Anyone read about the drug battles going on there in Saturdays paper? Maybe Albert, Pedro & Jorge should go play below the border. The police can't grill these guys and their parents enough. Perhaps cleaning the beach in cuffs would make them appreciate things. Lets stop making excuses for these poor down and out punks and start teaching them how to obey the law!

Teens out late are only looking for trouble. I would blame the parents but seems there 18 and over.

Now I know why, when I moved recently, Port Hueneme was not on the list of places to consider.
Too bad some great homes over there.

What a shame. Port Hueneme has such potential. The beach could bring in much needed revenue, but (some) city leaders have turned their backs on tourism (among other things) and continue to make decisions that are turning this lovely city into a ghetto. Port Hueneme Beach (actually the entire city lately) is downright dangerous. Where else in California can you live in a beach front property on Section 8??? Maybe a changing of the guard is in order...
