pet of the week: April 25
Mr. Bootz is a young adult short-haired cat. He came with his sister, Princess, who is also available. He always remembers to use his litter box. It is recommended that all cats live inside only. You can meet Mr. Bootz at the Humane Society of Ventura County in Ojai. His adoption fee of $95 includes vaccinations, spay, free vet check, collar, ID tag, leash, one-year Humane Society membership, microchip implantation and the love of a wonderful cat. For more information, visit http://www.humanesocietyvc.org or call 656-5031. The Humane Society is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
Everyone who meets Daniel seems to fall in love with him, yet no one has shown the courage to adopt this blind boy. He seems to sense objects and avoids running into most things. For example, when a person steps up to his cage he is right there to meet and greet them. He is good on a leash and his friendly, engaging personality really sparkles when he is out of the kennel. To take Daniel home ask for ID No. A3804115. Adoption fees are $37, which includes all shots and microchip. The pet licensing fee is additional. The Agoura Shelter is at 29525 Agoura Road, Agoura Hills. To check availability, call 818-991-0071 or visit http://animalcare.lacounty.gov.
