Free fair to feature crafts, games, more

Ramona School in Oxnard will host a free fair Saturday to celebrate Kid's Day.

The fair will be open 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 804 Cooper Road, Oxnard Police Officer Lewis MacArthur said.

Attractions will include arts and crafts, game booths, raffle prizes and a dunk tank where kids will have a chance to dunk a teacher or an officer, MacArthur said.

The event was organized by several community organizations including the Ramona School Parent-Teacher Association, the Oxnard Police Activities League and St. John's Regional Medical Center.

The medical center will host a booth and give free safety helmets to children.
