More than 500 job seekers and business people showed up for last year's Expo. Some of the county's largest companies were represented at the 80-plus booths, looking to gain exposure and meet job candidates."This is our third year and it will be bigger and better than ever," said Robin Blevins, Director of Marketing. This year's event has expanded into two rooms connected by one convenient entrance. The successful formula of restaurants and caterers providing samples of their cuisine, and a no-host bar make for fantastic networking opportunities. As an added bonus this year, we are excited to have 95.1 KBBY's on-air personality Bo Jaxson broadcasting live from the event. The Business Expo & Job Fair will run from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Oxnard Performing Arts and Convention Center, 800 Hobson Way, where exhibitors will have the opportunity to meet and network with hundreds of attendees. The Business Expo & Job Fair is free and open to the public with lots of free parking. The event is made possible by sponsorships from Oxnard Harbor District, Kaiser Permanente, Western States Petroleum Association, B95.1 KBBY, Pacific Coast Business Times, VCReporter, Ventana Monthly and Ventura County Star and Fronteras.
