Delays expected on Highway 150 this week

Drivers who plan to travel on Highway 150 in the Mira Monte area outside Ojai this week can expect delays due to roadwork, Caltrans officials said.

Crews will be laying asphalt over the concrete on Highway 150 between Baldwin Road and Loma Drive from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, according to Caltrans.

Crews will be directing traffic through one open lane, but motorists can expect delays of up to 15 minutes.

The roadwork is part of an $8.4 million project to rehabilitate Highway 150 from Loma Drive in Mira Monte to Santa Ana Road at the edge of Lake Casitas.

The project began in July 2007. Authorities expect it to be completed in late spring.
