Free Event to Kick off the Ojai Storytelling festival

Everyone Is Invited to Attend a Free Storytelling Performance

Performances To Grow On would like to thank Ventura County for its support of the Ojai Storytelling Festival and is offering a free event to give people a taste of the festival from 7 to 8:30 on May 1 with all of the featured tellers at this years festival. Each of the tellers will be offering a short story at this event sponsored by Rabobank. The festival will be celebrating its 9th year with a line-up of acclaimed storytellers that includes Grammy winner David Holt, Andy Irwin, Charlotte Blake Alston, Kuniko Yamamoto, Kevin Kling, Dovie Thomason and Bil Lepp. The festival continues throughout the weekend, May 1-4 at Libbey Bowl and the Ojai Art Center with programs for students, families and adults.
