Christine Nation and Zach Schultz in Cinderella

On two weekends in May, the Simi Valley Branch of the Association of University Women will present a modern musical adaptation of Cinderella, written by a local teacher Cheryl Talbot, at their production of Children's Theatre. Performances will be held at Simi Elementary School on Fridays May 2 and 16 at 7pm, Saturdays May 3 and 17 at both 2pm and 7pm and Sunday matinees at 2pm on May 4 and 18. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $5. All monies go to support local scholarships.

The members of the Simi Valley Branch of the University Women began Children's Theater in the 1970's to bring live theater to children. Long time member, Marilyn Cameron says "We started by contracting with Moorpark College and then with the local high schools. In the 1980's our members decided they wanted to do their own plays. These have been great fun and this one continues to be a fun production that you won't want to miss."

Please call Marilyn at 805-527-6412 for more information
