You can meet Cookie at the Humane Society of Ventura County in Ojai. Her adoption fee of $95 includes vaccinations, spay, free vet check, collar, ID tag, leash, one-year Humane Society membership, microchip implantation and the love of a wonderful cat. The Humane Society is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday.

Kelsey needs a kind soul who will provide hospice care for her remaining days. She has an abdominal mass that might be cancer, but she experiences no pain. Her appetite is good, and she has no litter box issues. She is the sweetest cat you will ever meet, a tiny tabby with white feet. She came into the shelter as a stray even though she's declawed on all four feet. It is a miracle that she survived outdoors. To take Kelsey home, request ID No. A3786448.
