Morning Report: 1 hospitalized after collision north of Ojai

More from Other NewsPolice and Fire: One person was transported to a local hospital with major injuries following a collision north of Ojai early this morning, authorities said.
The collision on Highway 33 in the Meiners Oaks area was reported to the California Highway Patrol and the Ventura County Fire Department about 1:17 a.m., according to the CHP.
The CHP reported major injuries in the crash.
One person was transported to Ojai Valley Community Hospital, according to the fire department.
Further details on the crash were not immediately available this morning.

Traffic: At 7 a.m., the California Highway Patrol was not reporting any traffic accidents or hazards on county roadways.

Weather: Mostly sunny conditions with high temperatures in the 60s and 70s are expected today, the National Weather Service reported.
A wind advisory is in place through 9 a.m. for local mountains, where gusts are expected to reach 50 miles per hour.
Some clouds and fog are expected in local mountains early today.
