La Reina Honors Student Excellence

Eight La Reina High School seniors will be honored at the twenty-sixth annual Evening of Excellence on Wednesday, April 30. Award recipients include Kelsey Conway (athletics), Elizabeth Dunbar (Christian service), Jenny Frutchey (math/science), Maura Latty (arts), Tera Lutz (leadership), Amanda Mundell (communication arts), Amanda Turk (Julie Award) and Rachel Yuengert (liberal arts). The event, sponsored by the LRHS Parent Guild, will be held at the Los Robles Banquet Center.

Guest presenters will be Lucia Bianchino '98 (special education teacher, Las Virgenes School District), Grant Brimhall (City Manager Emeritus, City of Thousand Oaks), Suzanne Buchta '91 (Principal, Bank of America), Marella Martin '05 (director, actress, singer and dancer), Hugh Ralston (President and CEO, Ventura County Community Foundation), Sr. Regina Robbins (Director of Pastoral Formation and Field Education, St. John's Seminary), Blaise Simqu (President and CEO, Sage Publications) and Chris Lehmann Vatacher (Teaching Pro, Westlake Golf Course).

Members of the Class of 2012 who are receiving Honors at Entrance will also be recognized.
