They're Coming Again!!

Sebastian says, "My name is Sebastian and I am an exchange student from Berlin, Germany. I decided that I wanted to be an exchange student because I heard from friends back in Germany how great it is. They told me about all their experiences, about the new people they met, about what they learned about people and culture and about the fun they had and all the new, exciting things they learned. I thought: "Well, sounds so great I want to experience the same."
"All things together I just want to agree with my friends back in Germany and say that this year is a fantastic year. And it is not just me having a great time with new experiences and learning new things. My host family has a lot of fun with the foreign kid they are hosting (me!). They enjoy having me as much as I enjoy having them. So for everyone who thinks about being a foreign exchange student or being a host family, stop thinking about it. Just do it. You will have a great year where you have a lot of fun and learn a lot of things at the same time."
My husband Robert and I have been International Exchange Coordinators in this area for 30+ years. We have placed students in all the surrounding high schools. Educational Foundation is an academic program and expects the students to earn a C or better in each class. The organization expects its host families to provide a bed, emotional support and to welcome the foreign student into their family as they would their own child. The students come with spending money and excellent medical insurance.
