Where is Channel Island Beach City? I live at the beach and have never heard of such a place. South "J" St. is no where near the beach.

Gayala- there was a story in the paper about splitting Oxnard into two cities, most of Oxnard, including J st., would now be called CI Beach.

These events are tragic yet it wouldn't be the Nard without violence. Oxnard is a nice beach city with a rotten core.
Gold Coast Ambulance and the men and women that save lives in Oxnard deserve some recognition. I was a medic for GCA and miss the excitement that Oxnard provided. The professionals at Gold Coast Ambulance are the best privately owned Emergency Medical Service providers of Ventura County.
The violence will continue in the VC and the Nard because of all the reasons we've heard. The EMT's and Paramedics of Gold Coast Ambulance will keep them alive until we arrive at St. Johns.
